See what our clients think of us

Employers consistently tell us how impressed they are with the calibre of talent they reach and recruit via 2to3days and how cost-effective we made the hiring process. And our candidates express their palpable relief that 2to3days exists and the sheer joy of being able to discover a vast array of business and professional roles that can be done flexibly.

But don’t take our word for it. Read what members of our community have to say themselves.

We were very happy to use 2to3days to find the part-time member of staff we were looking for. I think it's great that there is an agency out there providing support to mothers who want to ease back into working. Jo made it very easy for us by sending us some really good candidates. We ended up hiring one of them for our Part-Time Contracts Manager position. Would really recommend 2to3days!

We posted our role on 2to3days and within 24 hours were receiving applications from very qualified and professional candidates. The 2to3days team were helpful in advising us before we posted the job and we’ve hired an excellent candidate with minimal trouble.

We were hiring for an Office Administrator. I interviewed 4 out of 5 applications from 2to3days, compared to 2 out of 41 applications from Gumtree. I found 2to3days candidates had more breadth and depth of experience, better multitasking skills, emotional intelligence and were generally a better fit for our team. If you are hiring for a flexible role, this is the place to advertise, you will get fewer applications than some online recruitment sites, but the calibre of candidate speaks for itself - our successful candidate came via 2to3days!

Anna Cuthbert

Frisch Search

The quality of the professionals who applied to our ad was very high.  In fact, we received an application from a candidate who is overqualified for the role we advertised and we are currently talking with her about a more senior position.  So potentially, the ad has delivered two hires. You gave us great support and service.

Spot On Business Planning

We placed an advert and had an overwhelming response. Every candidate was fabulous with skills and experience that would have benefited our company-benefited any company. Can’t recommend enough and will always use this route for additional outstanding members of our team.

ADIDO

I have been more than pleased with the service of 2to3days. I posted the job on the site and received a great selection of amazingly qualified people applying for our role. The hardest part was trying to cut it down to a shortlist! After careful consideration we made our choice and now have a brilliant marketing manager on your team working hours to suit both her and us! I will be using 2to3days in the future for other roles without doubt!

I have used 2to3days to help with recruitment and they did a fantastic job of promoting the role which resulted in high quality candidates with great experience. I would definitely use 2to3 days again.

Concrete VC

The output has been above all expectations so far, I'd say 50% EXACTLY on target, 40% mostly, and 10% off. We are very confident we will have a hard time making a decision between candidates

Concrete VC went on to hire a mother and are extremely happy.

Howard Kennedy LLP

We were advised by multiple recruiters that this role was very difficult to fill and it was a very competitive market. We did not receive any suitable profiles although the role had been open for a few months.  We opened the role on 2to3days hoping to reach a talent pool that had not yet been tapped through recruitment agencies, and we were introduced to Jane who thoroughly impressed the partners.

To have found a high talent calibre candidate with the niche experience we required through 2to3days at a significantly lower cost than a recruitment agency has been a very pleasant surprise, and we are now using the platform for our other positions.

We at Tennyson Insurance are delighted to have used 2to3days. We have recruited an excellent candidate with speed and ease. The quality of the CVs we received were in fact beyond our expectations. Cantium Services

Having placed an ad at 2to3days for my maternity cover, I was surprised by the overwhelming response of highly qualified candidates.  The online platform was easy to use, and we had made our decision within a month of starting the process of recruitment.

2to3days was exceptional value for the service it provided, and I am grateful to the successful candidate for the outstanding job she did in my absence.  I have no hesitation recommending 2to3days to both businesses and candidates alike.

I just wanted to let you know that I've been successful in my application through 2to3days, for the position of Leadership Programme Manager at the CBI! It's basically my dream role and I would never have known it existed without your website.

2to3days has been amazing and has enabled me to progress my career on terms that work for me. It has been invaluable in helping me pursue my career and care for my sons.

Yvette Goury - Office Manager

I was so pleased when I discovered 2to3days. To find a company that advertises roles for mothers that want a fulfilling career but would prefer to work part time is extremely rare. Not only is the registration process straight forward but the companies they work with and roles advertised were fantastic.

The job application process was straight forward and I was invited to an interview directly by the employer. It was so refreshing to meet a Company Director that shared the same values as 2to3days and was looking for an experienced professional that wanted to develop their career but at the same time balance this with bringing up 2 small children.

After being offered the position, which is an ideal 3 days per week with flexibility to work from home I was over the moon. I would definitely recommend 2to3days to any parents in my position.

Meet Our Founder

Juliet Turnbull, founder and CEO

Juliet Turnbull, Founder and CEO of 2to3days

Setting out

I began my career as a Chartered Surveyor, something I excelled at but, in truth, didn’t really enjoy. It was a male-dominated profession, rife with presenteeism and sexism.

It was tough going, but I learned the importance of staying true to myself and fighting for what’s right. Even though I was promoted to a senior position with good money, I knew there had to be more to life. As is often the case, it was a forced change that made me see the light.

Juliet on the beach with her dog, Cosby

Embracing change

A cancer diagnosis and the surgery that followed meant working from home for a while. I discovered that I could be just as productive working flexibly as full time.

This new found freedom led me to set up my own retail property consultancy.

Running my own business was great and financially rewarding but I still wasn’t passionate about what I was doing. I needed a deeper sense of purpose. One day I went to see a business coach to talk it out and decided there and then that I wanted to become a coach myself. So, I did.

Over the next 10 years I learned a huge amount – not just about business but about human behaviour and what makes us tick. I learned that one of the keys to a successful business is to balance commercial imperatives with people’s emotional needs.

By this time, I was married with two young children and struggling, like so many others, to find the right balance in my own life between work and family. I wanted to have both – to thrive at work and at home – but the pressure kept piling up until eventually I just burned out.

An illustration of a lightbulb

The light bulb moment

What does ‘having both’ really mean? The answer came to me: millions of women want to work flexibly so that they can progress their careers while being actively present in their home lives. They want a combination of professional and personal fulfilment. But the traditional recruitment model wasn’t set up to solve his dilemma.

This was my light bulb moment. I resolved to create the UK’s first female-focused recruitment marketplace, where employers can find and hire the experienced female talent they need, and women can get support and inspiration to apply for those jobs.

I named the business 2to3days because it’s what people say when they want to work flexibly. Yes, it sometimes means literally 2 or 3 days a week. But for the vast majority of us, it means something far deeper than that – it means being able to integrate work with our lives, enabling us to reach our full potential while becoming happier, more productive and more loyal employees – all of which is great news for business.
