Key accountabilities
& responsibilities
Enter the accountabilities of the role. What are the main things the role holder needs to do?
1. Owns the design and timely/effective delivery of MI products to meet HR/business needs, typically through the creation of advanced self-service dashboarding and data visualisation, underpinned by accurate and robust data.
2. Partners with HR/business customers and other stakeholders, applying initiative/expertise to draw insights from data and challenging where appropriate. May deliver either to the HR Insights Manager or direct to HR/business customer, depending on scope.
3. Leverages a range of analytics technologies/tools and delivers products within ethical boundaries, challenging where appropriate.
5. Supports the ongoing prioritised refresh and upgrade of reporting products to meet requirements in our key customer personas (most notably HRBPs, HR COEs and Senior Business Leaders),
6. Seeks out opportunities to improve processes and products, including review of existing products to ensure value continues to endure.
8. Works in collaboration with HR Analytics SMEs that are outside the COE (i.e. the HR Insights Community) but embedded in Business Units (Health, Insurance, Ireland), challenging where necessary to drive simplification and standardisation to realise our wider HR Insights Ambition
Specialist skills & experience
Enter the technical / specialist knowledge, skills and experience that are needed to carry out the role.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - commercially-savvy and customer-focused with a determination to deliver quality MI products.
· Proven ability to balance own workstack of competing demands and deliver at pace.
· Strong data visualisation skills.
· Ideally 3+ years' experience in a reporting/analytics environment.
· Knowledge of HR processes and the delivery of HR analytics products.
· Strong Data Management skills and experience, including the application of data protection and data ethics policies into HR reporting.
· Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Access, including knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and its application for process automation in Excel and Access. SQL, including Microsoft SSMS, SSIS. Also QlikView.
