This role sits in the Reporting arm of the HR Data, Reporting and Insights COE in UK HR. The primary engine room of the COE's management information (MI) products, this individual supports the wider team to create reports and dashboards that meet the decision-enabling needs of the COE's key customer groups/personas.
Job Summary:
Supports the delivery of accurate and considered MI products to meet HR/business needs, typically through the provision of simple datasets, uses processes to execute regular reporting tasks. May liaise directly with HR/business customers and other stakeholders.
Act as first line support for customers contacting the team inbox and assesses appropriate action.
Seeks and implements opportunities to improve processes and products.
Delivers products in line with personal data guardrails, challenging customer use cases where appropriate.
Partners with the other arms of the Insights COE to support delivery of products/projects where necessary.
Maintains the requests log and the report catalog
Maintains and develops content (documentation, procedures, Sharepoint content) to support team processes
Required Skills:
Strong communication and time management skills - customer-focused with a determination to deliver quality MI products.
ability to balance own workstack of competing demands and deliver at pace.
Experience of delivering MI that serves customers' requirements.
Experience of databases (e.g. SQL, Access), extraction of data, data reporting capabilities (aggregation, relationships, grouping)
Strong Excel skills, understands data formats, understands ETL
